study 'nature' as an aspect of God's creation and thus uncover scientific truths.

But the Bible is also a source of truth about our planet. Scattered throughout its pages are scriptures, which on close inspection give important clues on the processes that led to the Earth's formation. These scriptures tell us that the processes must have been orchestrated, witnessed, fine-tuned and recorded by a supreme power and intelligence that we call God.

Thus the story that is told in this book is not one of chance evolution but one of deliberate creation in which the laws of nature were not suspended, but directed by God's word to suit His purpose.

The theory for the formation of the Earth that is proposed in this book answers virtually all the frequently asked questions about our planet, questions such as: Why does the Earth rotate about its own axis? Why does it orbit the sun? How did the earth get its deep oceans and unique atmosphere? Where did the continents come from? What is the composition of the earth's core? Why does the Earth have a magnetic field and why do the positions of the magnetic poles oscillate? How did the Earth get its lithosphere and asthenosphere? When and how was the Moon formed?

The book also gives a scientific explanation for the many scriptures that relate to the Earths behaviour. Thus the stupendous global events which took place on the first four days of the Genesis account can be explained as 'natural phenomena' that logically follow from all that went on before the first day.

Likewise, Noah's Flood is seen as a predictable global catastrophic natural disaster, and one that could have been prevented by God if He wanted it to. The parting of the Red Sea, the darkness and earthquake at the time of the crucifixion and many other events mentioned in the Bible all have a scientific explanation in keeping with the way the Earth was formed. Scriptures in the book of Revelation that relate to terrestrial and extraterrestrial events that will mark the end of this age also have a predictable and scientific explanation once the manner in which the Earth was formed is understood.

The book is a 288-page paperback written in plain non-technical language. It is illustrated with simple diagrams. A short list of references is given at the end of each chapter for readers who may require a greater depth of study, but each chapter is complete in itself.

Copies of the book can be purchased through bookshops or directly from the author.
